Breaking the Mould
AudioBear’s first project is a 27-minute documentary named “Breaking the Mould” and has been commissioned for BBC Radio Lincolnshire, set to be broadcast in January 2013. It’s all about exploring Lincolnshire’s waste and recycling industry. We’ve been amongst every kind of waste you can think of - mainly sewage and bins. Here’s a longer (and rougher)...
After understanding more about radio, I want to do more off my own back and aim that little bit higher. My small University project group and I have set up AudioBear, a place where we can put our work and a more professional online environment. So check it out - http://audiobear.co.uk

Lincoln Radio Symposium
I was lucky enough to go to a great event. Visiting Professor, Trevor Dann, had organised a Radio Symposium with Lorna Clarke (Network Manager for BBC Radio 2 & 6Music), Sam Bailey (Interactive Editor, BBC Music Events), Dick Stone (Programme Director, Capital FM East Midlands) and David Jennings (BBC Head of Region, East Yorkshire and Lincolnshire) - instead Stuart Thomas (Head of BBC East...
The last few weeks have been pretty busy for me. The most exciting part being sent off to BBC Radio 1, Working the desks for a Newsbeat ‘mock’ bulletin, and sitting in the 1Xtra studios whilst westwood was live on air. I can honestly say it was one of the best days of my life.. just being in that environment. Afterwards, myself and Emily had a few days of post-Radio1 depression before...
Ed Bretten Masterclass
Ed Bretten from LincsFM came into the University of Lincoln to give a voice coaching and scripts masterclass. He is pretty awesome.

Jason Carter also spoke about the Radio 1 Hackney Weekend and why they are organising this event. Clare Thomas talked about BBC Introducing and...
Hey, i’m Ed! A lot of people seem to be jumping on this tumblr bandwagon, so um, it must be good enough for me to join. It’s a pretty swish site if i do say so. I’m not quite sure as to what I’m going to be posting here, but it will probably be more personal and for me to keep track of my life. But I’d love it if you want to join me! See you shortly.
